I like the Magic Treehouse books because Jack and Annie go all over the world and even back in time to solve cases or learn something. I like the Winter of the Ice Wizard the best. I would like to be Jack.

The Magic Nesting Doll is a good book at our library. My favorite character in the story was a man that was guarding the prince. He blasted up into little blocks of ice cubes becuase the girl was trying to wake up the prince. He could stop winter that way spring can come and they can grow their crops.

I like the fantasy book gregor the Overlander. It’s about this kid who falls underneath a big city and meets giant talking roaches and rats! It is kinda creepy to think about a rat as big as a person and how the rats could make an army that could control all of the people. I am going to read the other books about Gregor too.

I read the Lightening Thief about a boy who finds out his dad is a greek god- I can’t tell you which one because that would ruin it. There are more books about Percy and I am going to read them because they are scary and funny at the same time.

My Penguin Osbert is about a kid who gets a penguin for Christmas. He learns that it takes a LOT of responsibility to keep a penguin. We liked the part in the book that told about Joe getting a little red sports car instead of a big real sports car. We learned that penguins would like to take bath with cold water instead of hot water.

Gregor the Overlander is a good book because there are giant insects, talking bats, 6 foot rats, and another world underground. Gregor is our favorite character because he is an interesting person and is brave. Boots is funny. The roaches like her because she smells.
